Klopp: Dortmund Are Still Bayern’s Bundesliga Rivals

Former Dortmund manager, Jurgen Klopp does not believe RB Leipzig can take Dortmund’s spot as Bayern’s title rivals.

RB Leipzig are currently level on points with Bayern Munich, with Dortmund just six points behind.

Speaking to WDR, Klopp said that he was impressed by Leipzig and Hoffenheim, but dismissed their Bundesliga aspirations.

”The work that RB Leipzig and 1899 are doing deserves the highest respect,” the 49-year-old said.

“Both can also compete internationally, I am quite sure Leipzig and Hoffenheim can do it. But Borussia Dortmund still has an incredible quality.”
