Juventus Midfielder Hernanes Close To Joining Chinese Club Hebei China Fortune
Juventus midfielder Hernanes is closing in on a move to Chinese outfit Hebei China Fortune, according to the Serie A club’s managing director Giuseppe Marotta.
Hernanes has managed only eight league starts this term and his agent recently revealed that he could move to China to secure regular first-team football.
It appears as though he is inching closer to the Chinese Super League, with Juve’s managing director Marotta hinting that the deal could be tied up today (Monday).
Discussing Hernanes’ move to China, Marotta told Premium Sport: “This Monday we have a meeting with Hebei [China Fortune], the negotiations are fairly advanced and I think that everything will end up defined.”
Hernanes, 31, is poised to join Hebei Fortune — where two other former Serie A players, Ezequiel Lavezzi and Gervinho, are playing — for an estimated €11 million.
He had been on the brink of leaving in the summer, but a proposed move to Besiktas broke down when he opted to stay in Italy and fight for his place.
