Yevhen Konoplyanka Could Quit Sevilla

​Sevilla winger Yevhen Konoplyanka could leave the Europa League champions before the close of the transfer window.

The Ukraine international, who did not feature in Sevilla’s La Liga opener against Espanyol last weekend, has revealed that he has received proposals from elsewhere in recent weeks.

“I have had offers and the transfer window is still open. My situation is not very clear at Sevilla. I do not give up, but I want to see what happens,” he is quoted as saying in AS.

According to Sport.ua, Zenit St Petersburg and Spartak Moscow have both made offers for the 26-year-old.

​Jose Fonte will sign a new contract with Southampton, according to the Daily Mirror.

The Portugal centre-back, who had been linked with a move to Manchester United, will reportedly see his wage rise from £45,000 a week to £75,000

Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho was eager to boost the heart of United’s defence with Portuguese countryman Fonte and was lining up an £8million bid.

But after a meeting with the Saints’ director of football Les Reed and chairman Ralph Krueger, Fonte will stay at St Mary’s. 

Manager Claude Puel said: “The situation of Jose is now finished and he is back to normal.

“Jose is now concentrating just on his football and his team. He had a good discussion with the director of football, with the chairman and now everything is all OK.

Chelsea’s Patrick Bamford Set To Go Leave On Loan Again – This Time It’s Burnley

​Chelsea’s Patrick Bamford is joining Burnley on a season-long loan, according to The Guardian.

The 22-year-old has spent the last four seasons on loan at a variety of clubs, and newly-promoted Burnley look to be his latest.

The 22-year-old has already received proposals from Aston Villa, Wigan and Norwich but is keen on playing for a Premier League club
Bamford will provide competition for leading forwards Sam Vokes and Andre Gray, who faces a FA charge for making homophobic comments on social media dating back to 2012.
Bamford has two years remaining on his Stamford Bridge contract after arriving from Nottingham Forest in 2012. 

Patrick Bamford  is yet to make a senior appearance for Chelsea while being loaned out to MK Dons, Derby, Middlesbrough, Palace, Norwich and now Burnley over the past four seasons.

​Man City will do all they can to help Joe Hart secure a move away from the club before the transfer window ends, says Txiki Begiristain.
The 29-year-old has slipped further down the pecking order at the Etihad Stadium following the arrival of Chilean keeper Claudio Bravo from Barcelona, with Hart having already lost his spot in the City first XI to Willy Caballero.

“We will try to find a good solution for everybody. We now have one week to make him happy and find a club where he has a real chance.
“We will try and help him because he deserves it.”

​Walter Mazzarri is happy with Watford’s summer signings but may not select any of them against Arsenal on Saturday.

Daryl Janmaat recently arrived from Newcastle for a fee of £7.5m, following the purchases of Younes Kaboul and Roberto Pereyra who moved to Vicarage Road earlier this month.

“I need to evaluate the new signings. They have just arrived and I need to be sure they know what they need to do.

“They will be there. I’m not sure if they will start or play later. I want to start from the good things we did against Chelsea. It’s nearly impossible all three will start.”

​Arsenal are in advanced negotiations with Valencia to sign defender Skhodran Mustafi. The fee is believed to be in the region of £35m.

Arsenal manager Arsène Wenger has been under pressure to strengthen his defensive options after long-term injuries to Per Mertesacker and Gabriel, with Mustafi identified as the Frenchman’s No1 target weeks ago.

Having initially bid around £20m for the 24-year-old, negotiations have continued since then and an agreement was finally reached on Thursday, with Mustafi set for a medical before the weekend having agreed personal terms with the club.

Arsenal have already spent £35m on Switzerland midfielder Granit Xhaka and outlayed around £9m combined on defender Rob Holding, forward Takuma Asano and midfielder Kelechi Nwakali.

Crystal Palace chairman Steve Parish insists he will not sell winger Wilfried Zaha to Tottenham this summer despite the winger asking to leave for White Hart Lane.

According to various reports Wilfred  Zaha has met with Palace manager Alan Pardew and told him he wants to join Spurs.

“We had a bid from Spurs but £12m – it’s ridiculous. I can’t imagine that they’re serious,” Parish told talkSport.

“There’s no chance whatsoever of Wilfried Zaha leaving the club in this transfer window. I can absolutely reassure every Palace fan he is an integral part of our plans.”

“We’ve told Spurs that there is really no point bidding for him because he is going nowhere – 100 per cent guaranteed.

“It’s not right really that players get their heads turned,” Parish said. “I was told that the manager there thinks he’s the next Ronaldo. Well I’d like to get the next Ronaldo for £12m.

“We need to convince Wilfried that Palace is the right place for him and that he can succeed here.

“I haven’t spoken to the player. The manager and the player might have had a conversation but I’m chairman of the football club.

“I decide who leaves and he’s not leaving. He’ll have to get his head around that.”

all-time low of
412 per dollar on the parallel
market on Friday as
a dollar shortage persists, traders
said..

According to Reuters on account
of traders, some
bureaux de change operators
have been finding it
difficult to access their forex
account and get
dollar supply after the central
bank suspended
nine commercial lenders from the
market, putting
further pressure on the local
currency..

On Thursday the naira closed at
409 per dollar on
the parallel market. On the
interbank market it
traded at 315 compared with 305
the previous
day.

Fabregas Remains Committed To Chelsea Amid Exit Rumors

Relegated midfielder, Cesc Fabregas is insisting Antonio Conte has not given him permission to leave. With the Spaniard stating he is fully committed to the club.

The Spain international has not started a Premier League match for Chelsea this season, starting all matches from the bench. And was an unused substitute in the 3-0 win over Burnley.

However, he started in the League Cup match against Bristol Rovers, with Chelsea winning that encounter 3-2. Due to lack of playing time under Conte, the Spain international has been linked with a move away from the club.

But Fabregas used social media to try and dismiss speculation, writing via Twitter on Sunday: “Contrary to what has been written, the manager and I have a good relationship and he has NEVER told me that I can leave.

“He said that he counts on me, as I count on him. I will continue to fight for this club until the very end and when called upon I will always give my very best.

“I’m fully committed to ‪@chelseafc and my only goal is to help them win more football matches.”

After the international break, Fabregas’ unbeaten Chelsea face Swansea City on September 11.
